Boudoir FAQ

FIrst things first...

Hi! Hello! I know you're probably super excited and maybe even a little nervous for your shoot! Let me say, I am so proud of you for finally doing something for YOURSELF. No matter what (or who!) got your foot in the door, I promise you will be leaving feeling better than when you came.
So...
Let's start with what to wear to your session.
I always suggest something baggy that isn't going to leave lines on your skin, a big t-shirt (or button-up if you're worried about the hair) or a loose dress is best. Of course I always suggest to wear loose under garments, if any at all, as well. The less clothing lines we start with, the better!

What should I wear during my session!?
The short and long answers are honestly both the same - WHATEVER THE HELL YOU WANT.
I've photographed people in everything from the tiniest lingerie to jeans and a t-shirt. This session is what you want to make of it. What I don't want is you forcing yourself into something you don't feel comfortable in, or subscribing to any version of "sexy" that isn't your own.
Most people bring 1-4 outfits to be photographed in. Okay, that's a tiny lie, most people bring every option possible and we end up photographing up to 3 outfits usually in the time allotted.
Because of this I suggest bringing 2 lingerie options (if that's your thing!) think bra and panty sets, teddies, corsets, garters, slips and all that fun stuff.
I also think it's really fun to have the other 2 options be something other than lingerie. Think t-shirts, jerseys, dresses, button-ups, robes, tank-tops etc.
All this to be said, of course, I don't give a damn what you wear or what you bring. If you can't decide - I can help you! But don't worry, I'm here for you during the planning phase and will hold your hand!
Will my images be shared?
Absolutely not, ever. Unless you give me permission of course! Even then I always ask for permission before I use images in social media or on my website. Yes, advertising with images helps me, and I appreciate clients who allow that, but I never expect it. These images are for YOU and whoever YOU decide to share them with, if anyone.
How long does it take to receive the final photos?
My turn around time is typically between 2-4 weeks depending on the time of year. Like many businesses, busy season can ebb and flow, as does life outside of work. I will always be in communication with you about your turnaround time.
Can I order prints or albums through you?
Yes! Through your gallery you will easily be able to order prints, canvases and albums. I'm happy to help you design an album through your gallery as well.
